Rutgers Child's Play ...
is the unique family program that’s fun for babies, toddlers, and parents alike. Our playgroups feature singing, art projects, story time, active play and more to engage children. Just as important, Child’s Play gives parents a chance to find community and support, so children may be accompanied by parents or grandparents only (no sitters or nannies). Activities are facilitated by a group leader, a parent who is happy to exchange parenting stories, offer encouragement, and play alongside the kids. Be prepared to have fun!

Child's Play Guidelines
Play clothes are encouraged.
Parents and children: bring along your own snacks which
are to be eaten only in the snack area.
Diaper-changing is permitted in the diaper-changing area
ONLY.
Parents must familiarize themselves with the Child's
Play Etiquette brochure. Parents are fully and solely
responsible for the actions and behavior of their child(ren).
All phone calls must be conducted in the hallway, not
the playroom. Parents help clean up after each session.
In fairness to others, children who show up with runny
noses, fever, coughing, diarrhea, open sores, or who are
contagious will not be permitted to participate in that
day's events. Parent are advised not to attend if their
child(ren) exhibit such symptoms. Group Leaders have the
authority to send home any child whom they feel poses
a danger to any other child. ONE make-up per term.
